It is used to help increase circulation, aid in relaxation, reduce stress, and decrease pain caused by the over-demand of the mother's body. This massage uses Swedish techniques and is done in accordance with physician approval and individual requirements.
Thai Massage is a unique type of massage that is not offered in the Fort Madison area. It is used to increase flexibility, renew energy, increase circulation and decrease pain. This modality is done with the client fully dressed in comfortable, stretchy clothing (gym clothing works well), and the therapist stretches the client and uses compression strokes to bring oxygen into the muscles. It is invigorating and rejuvenating.
A salt glow is a combination of Swedish Massage and exfoliation with sea salt, oil, and aromatherapy. This leaves the skin feeling refreshed, renewed, and with a subtle glow.
Foot Soak is a 30 minute detoxifying soak, using salts, oils, and aromatherapy, along with a unique foot massage.
Hand/Foot Massage is a 30 minute massage divided amongst the hands and feet, using special techniques and aromatherapy.

Hot stone Massage is used in conjunction with Swedish Massage, only stones are warmed and placed along the body to increase circulation and decrease pain. This modality also gives a unique, deeper relaxation than most massage.
Swedish Massage is the most common type of massage. It is usually performed on a massage table with the client undressed to their comfort level. Using a variety of techniques, this modality increases circulation throughout the muscles and tissues, including lymph flow. This technique is used for a variety of conditions, including, but not limited to relaxation, stress reduction, depression, fibromyalgia, pain relief, and aiding in the healing of an injury, new or old.
